Found this guy on the porch.
I believe this was the noise that left my lips, "BWAAAAAAHEHEEEIIIIHEEEEWWWAA!"
I have never seen a tarantula outside of a zoo before. Apparently they are common in this area in the fall.
Thank the Lord for my husband.I'm going to have bad dreams tonight.
