It is no secret that we have had our fair share of snow this winter. In fact, the school age kids have missed so much school that they no longer have to make up any more snow days if they have to miss any more school due to snow. I guess there is a limit to the amount of snow days they have to make up and apparently it has been reached and surpassed.
There is only so much time you can spend playing in this white stuff. Not to mention, it takes 30 minutes to suit up just to play for 10. So, while I'm cooped up in the house with the kids, we do crafts to keep from having to watch tv all day. Here's a few of my projects:
We moved the couch along the far wall perpendicular to the windows in the living room and we needed something to fill that wall. I covered some old prints that David and I had done years ago. Its a cherry blossom tree.
Remember my mantel dilemma? This is dandelion is going to have to do for a while. Its growing on me.
We also needed a wreath that can hang on the front door from Christmas to spring. Burlap anyone? Supposedly its a new fad. The burlap flowers are a lot easier than you'd think. It'll do.
Though I love to be crafty, I hope my snoredom is finished for the rest of this winter. I'm over it.
