It is time. I just did it like a band-aid. Cold turkey. She was only using them to sleep anyway. I put them in a plastic bag and made her throw them in the trash. She was not happy. I told her she was a big girl now and big girls don't use passies. The tears dried fast. It was time for lunch after all and she was having her favorite.It is time. Passies and preschool, passies and potty training, and passies and big girl beds don't mix. These are all things that we are considering in the near future.
It is time. Every time she asks for them, I tell her that she's a big girl and that they are in the trash and she moves on.
Is it time? The only down side to this is that she absolutely refused to take a nap.
Pray for us tonight.
I would just like to say thanks to those who prayed and to super daddy David. He put her to bed with not one problem. She went to sleep and we didn't hear a peep until about 7:45 in the morning. (I told him he needs to come home around 12:30 everyday to put her down for naps)
