Pinterest Inspired

So, about 5 or 6 years ago when we lived in Mississippi, I saw this huge wreath made out of wine corks while eating in this really great restaurant.  "I gotta make me one of those!" I thought and I started to collect my corks.  Then I discovered pinterest and found this lovely wreath for inspiration.

 You would think that after 5/6 years, I would have enough corks to make a nice sized wreath.  Not so much.  I have tried twice and each time figured out that I am sorely under corked.  Maybe it is a good thing that I am not a drunk.  Then again, I don't typically buy expensive wines.  Most of the cheaper wines use plastic corks and I only save the real ones.

In the mean time, I needed something non-holiday to hang on our front door.  Again, pinterest inspired....
